We selected this restaurant for our final evening before departure and left with the singular regret of not having discovered it sooner. The cuisine was exemplary from start to finish: a fragrant Genovese pesto and a carbonara executed with impeccable technique, followed by a magnificently portioned T-bone steak, perfectly seared, tender, and richly flavorful. We concluded with a Pannacotta of remarkable delicacy silken, refined, and exquisitely balanced. Service was equally distinguished. Tristan’s polished demeanor and attentive yet unobtrusive hospitality enhanced the experience, and his elegant, assured technique in presenting and uncorking the wine added a final touch of sophistication. We depart thoroughly impressed and would return without hesitation. Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

An enjoyable experience last night dining here at Ciccio. Good food - the chicken pate and then the lamb was excellent. My wife enjoyed the moules mariniere and the grilled swordfish. Wine reasonably priced for reasonably good quality. Service was good from the friendly staff - David from Denmark and the Japanese girl ( apologies I didn't ask your name) and afterwards in the bar Matthew was friendly and enthusiastic. We'll likely return later in the week. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Absolutely Sensational!! This place is pure class. From the greeting at the front door and throughout the entire dining experience the wait staff were polite, courteous and attentive and presented themselves impeccably. My son thoroughly enjoyed his pasta dish and the Aged Parmesan Risotto with shaved Truffle was Incredible to say the least. If you are looking for a five star dining and culinary experience whilst visiting Hakuba then look no further Magari de Ciccio Hakuba Is where you will find it. Great job team. Thank you. Price per person: ¥5,000–6,000
