Had a wonderful family dinner at Maggiano @ East Village. It's a cosy Italian restaurant, so I'd recommend making a reservation as seating is limited. The mushroom soup with garlic bread was the highlight of our meal—rich, creamy and absolutely delicious. Our kids loved it too! The Carbonara was rich and flavourful, the Linguine Vongole was fresh and well-balanced, and the pizza was perfectly baked with lots of cheesy goodness. Great food, friendly service and a cosy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Discovered a gem at the corner store right beside Anytime fitness! Ordered the takeaway Maggiano (calzone pizza - think of a whole pizza folded into half) as we were worried they were going to close soon and had other errands to run around the area. Eventually came back to the outside of store to finish it after hours, and the owner/chef was so kind to provide us with water and cutlery as well. Even though we ate the pizza almost 1 hour after it was made, it was still crispy, warm and flavourful. The arugula and Parma ham were were placed outside of the pizza, allowing both to stay fresh/prevent them from being soggy. The inside of the folded pizza was a delightful cheese, mushroom truffle and beef mince mix, which paired really well with the crispy and yet fluffy crust. Will be back to try their other pizzas and possibly pastas too or consider delivery as it seemed that the pizza held up well. (Photos and videos of the half eaten pizza as it was too good and we ate before the camera ate haha) Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

What a charming and delightful restaurant. The food was absolutely outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It genuinely felt like I was back in Italy. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire dining experience even more memorable. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will definitely be returning again soon. The carbonara was exceptional, perfectly cooked and full of rich, authentic flavour. It was easily one of the best carbonaras I have had in a long time. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a genuine Italian dining experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
