What a charming and delightful restaurant. The food was absolutely outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It genuinely felt like I was back in Italy. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire dining experience even more memorable. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will definitely be returning again soon. The carbonara was exceptional, perfectly cooked and full of rich, authentic flavour. It was easily one of the best carbonaras I have had in a long time. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a genuine Italian dining experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Come with expectations held firmly in check, and you might enjoy the experience. The name, location and price levels might bring to mind visions of a cute trattoria with soulful wall decor and a quaint woodfired pizza oven smoldering in the back of the kitchen - but this place is a far cry from those wistful imaginings. Instead, it's a small, boxy, glass-fronted eatery in an anonymous strata-titled mall, bereft of character, manned by a taciturn dude and a sullen-looking cook at the back, churning out workaday fare that could've come out of any big-chain, industrialized Italian restaurant, only more expensive. Keep this in mind and one will have their Italian food itch scratched, some subcutaneous ticklishness may linger as one dreams of more blistery crusts. In other words, fit for a slightly more involved Friday dinner, but don't bring a first date here. Ok: - Quattro formaggi pizza. Exceedingly cheesy and salty in a moreish, fast-food way, but somewhat one-dimensional otherwise. Crust is sub-par, like something out of pizza hut, dense and bready. - Lasagna. Unattractive, overly cheesy, texturally homogenous, and oozing orange oils squeezed out of the cheese by an overenthusiastic broiler. A poor complement to the pizza, to be honest, but I was expecting it to be more tomatoey and far, far less processed cheese mountain. Lasagna sheets were way too overcooked and disintegrated into the mass. Not a speck of green in sight, either. And did I mention the mass of orange oil pooling at the sides of the dish? Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 30–40 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Homey little bistro with a few tables inside East Village - next to Anytime Fitness. We had the Parma pizza (buffalo cheese was a bit cold but the pizza dough was ), bolognese pasta (so good we forgot pictures), maggiano super salad and bruschetta pomodoro (if the bread was slightly more toasted would be so yummy - personal preference). Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 40–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
