Magic Wok Family Restaurant gives a simple, comfortable and value-for-money dining experience. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are quite satisfying. Taste-wise, the food is generally enjoyable and easy to eat. One area that could be improved is the presentation. Since we often say good food should have “colour, aroma and taste”, the “colour” part can be made a little more attractive. For example, the Thai dessert “Red Ruby” was nice, but when it was first served, it looked rather plain and mostly white. After I placed a few red ruby pieces on top, the whole dessert immediately looked much more appealing. The staff were actually quite thoughtful and made the dining experience feel relaxed. With just a little warmer smile, the service would be even better. I also like the seating arrangement. The tables are spacious, and although the layout is open, it still gives a fair sense of privacy. Overall, a pleasant and fuss-free place for a casual meal. I would return again for simple, comforting Thai food at reasonable prices. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Do not expect good quality food or good service here. If you want something fast and affordable and generous portion then this is for you. If you want service and quality suggest you go somewhere else Food quality is below average. Strengths are great pricing, good portion, speed is fast. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
