It’s important to get the expectation right before you go. It’s a tiny restaurant with very small menu and limited manpower. We went as a party of two and almost ordered the entire menu. Disappointment came when the chicken dish, which looked like the only main course there, went out of stock immediately after the dinner service started (we arrived as the third if not second table). In terms of taste, we had two delightful starters, they were well seasoned and cooked, the rest were all right, not that impressive. We weren’t full so decided to order the cheese platter. Mission accomplished. We were finally full! It’s hard not to mention wine. As it’s a wine bar the selection is impressive. But as a party of two we were able to enjoy one bottle that’s it. There’s no “by the glass” so no matter how wide selection they serve we had one. Price per person: $500+ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Maison Natsukashii Hong Kong is a small and very special place with plenty of charm and a calm, almost tucked-away atmosphere. Refined, thoughtful, and full of character — exactly the kind of spot that feels personal and memorable. If you are looking for something beyond the obvious addresses in Hong Kong, this is a wonderful find. For me, clearly a hidden gem. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $250–300
