Beautiful cafe in the North District. Beautiful art books and art pieces surround the minimalist esthetic. There is a small hallway that connects this to the Daxin Art Museum. Meal type: Other Price per person: NT$200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Maison s is absolutely perfect. It is well worth the journey even if you have to come from a long way across town - or out of town. It is a warm embracing coffee place. There's a library where you can borrow an art book or two and read it while you're enjoying your drink. There is a nice menu of food - and the cookies are delicious. The music is comfortable. The chairs are comfortable. And the come and go is great for come and go. The owner is super duper nice. She's wonderful. It is a tiny bit difficult to find. It is nearby the McDonald's. But if you're using Google maps and I guess you are, then you'll be able to find it. And by all means take a step inside. The shop is attached to what I believe is the finest private art gallery I have visited in my life.
