I when after the lunch crisis WD at about 230pm. I'm told this is not the original Maks.. as there's another one a couple of doors further down with signs only in Chinese claims the title of the only one without branches. But overall the food and service is pretty much on par with the original. The locals who know tend to prefer the original instead of the one with the green sign. Had a good lunch here. The restaurant is located at thw fringe of the mall. Surprisingly, there was no crowd as I arrived at about 12.45pm. Atmosphere is very nice and service was also very good. Opted for the wonton noodle (sai yoong). It was ok. Noodles were crunchy and soup was flavourful. Guess you get the same taste whichever outlet you visit. The wonton had a good portion of shrimps and pork. It was good. I ordered a milk tea which was overpriced and sub-par. They provide chinese tea complimentary hence skip the drinks. Pricing is slightly above the local shops. Honestly, I would patronize the local shops rather than this. They taste just as good (only downside is possibly lesser portion fo shrimp in the wonton) and is cheaper. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: HK$50–100 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
