We visited as a family and ordered only a few drinks, one chicken noodle soup, one chicken with rice, and fries. The bill was more than 800 THB, which is completely unreasonable for the quality we received. The chicken noodle soup was the worst I have had in all my visits to Thailand. It lacked flavour, the ingredients did not taste fresh, and it was very disappointing. The service was even worse. The waiter was unfriendly from the beginning and paid almost no attention while taking our order. We had to repeat ourselves several times, and throughout the visit the staff seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. The only positive thing about this place is the beachfront location. Unfortunately, a nice view cannot make up for poor food, unfriendly service, and overpriced dishes. After reading other reviews, it seems many guests have had similar experiences with the food, service, and value for money. I would not recommend this restaurant. There are many better places on Koh Phangan where you will get much better food, friendlier service, and fair prices. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Unfortunately, I realised too late that there were so many bad reviews. The behaviour of the owner and the staff is absolutely not typical of Thailand. We had a meal there and a few drinks. The food was okay, but the rudeness began when they tried to charge us for using the loo. After I pointed out that we were guests and had eaten there, my companion and I were allowed to use the loo for free. However, the second visit to the loo was then supposed to cost money again. Apparently, only one visit to the loo per visit is included. I’ve never experienced anything like this before when eating out at a restaurant. Quite apart from the overpriced menu – which, as a tourist, you’re likely to accept because the location is so lovely – there are certain principles – at least for me. I’ve lodged a complaint with the relevant authorities about the restaurant’s behaviour and won’t be visiting it again in future, which is something I’d recommend to everyone else as well.
