This large open-plan shop used to be Intown Coffee. Some changes have been made, and it feels a bit more cozy, although there's no denying it's a very large coffee house. The sound acoustics are a bit bouncy, but it's a pleasant enough space to have sweets or drinks and spend time on your laptop. The service was very friendly and I have to say, the desserts were a great bargain at 69 baht each. Because it was later in the day, I ordered tea and not coffee. The green tea was dense and almost overpowering at first. But it turned out to be a nice counterpoint to the carrot cake I ordered. The Carrot cake was moist with plenty of soft chunks of carrot, and the sweetness was perfect. It had the traditional Carrot- cake- style layer of icing, and I must say it was extra thick--- all the better as far as I'm concerned! I was extremely impressed by the quality of the carrot cake. And so I ordered slices of chocolate cake and red velvet cake to take home. Those cakes were also a terrific value at that price point-69 baht-and tasted quite good.
