Mallika R.E. 124 was such a fun and unique experience in Kanchanaburi. We rented traditional Thai costumes and changed on site, which really added to the atmosphere. Walking around the recreated old Siamese town dressed in period clothing made it feel immersive and memorable — perfect for photos and just enjoying the setting. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with traditional wooden buildings, gardens, and small shops that reflect life in the Rattanakosin era. It’s well organized and easy to explore at a relaxed pace. A great cultural stop, especially if you want something interactive and different from the usual sightseeing spots.

This time, I came to experience wearing Thai clothes before visiting the park. If guests want to wear more traditional Thai clothing, they will have to pay the difference. I chose a regular Thai outfit. The environment is quite nice, although it's not very big. There's a food street where tourists must exchange Thai baht for traditional Thai currency to buy food. I had lunch here at the buffet. Although the selection wasn't huge, the rice noodle soup had many ingredients, was a large bowl, and was delicious. The other Thai salads and snacks were also very authentic. It's a good choice for dining.
