Amazing food, great atmosphere, and excellent value! We had dinner at MamaKOP last night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with beautiful lighting that makes it a perfect place for an evening meal. The food was outstanding. The whole deep fried fish with tamarind sauce was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and topped with a delicious garlic and onion mixture. The papaya salad was fresh, crunchy, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The fried rice was also excellent—generous portion size, full of fresh vegetables, and packed with flavor. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always smiling, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service. It’s clear that the team takes pride in what they do. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food on Koh Phangan, served in a relaxed and friendly environment, MamaKOP is definitely worth a visit. We will certainly be coming back! Highly recommended! Some poor spinoff of Thai food. My thai girlfriend and I didn’t even finish our dishes. Her tom yum was a weird mix with tom kah and something. My masaman was bad taste and Thai omelette was super oily. Never coming back Meal type: Lunch Food: 2 Service: 3

We had an horrible experience in mamakop restaurant. First of all, the food wasn’t good at all. The service was very bad, we waited for service for a long time and they were disgusting. Overall, bad restaurant. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
