Heard good reviews from the ground staff and decided to give it a try. Since it was raining and the restaurant has an al-fresco concept, we opted for takeaway and enjoyed our meal in the room instead. The Pad Thai and Pad Kra Pao were both excellent. The Pad Thai had a slight charred aroma that paired wonderfully with the crushed nuts and chili flakes. The Pad Kra Pao was even better.... flavourful, well-balanced and packed with authentic Thai taste. A satisfying meal and definitely worth trying!

If you're looking for genuinely fantastic Thai food in Nai Yang, Mama's Kitchen is the answer. It's a wonderful spot where the cooking is brilliant and the service is genuinely top-notch. They nail the balance of great quality and a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. The true stars in the kitchen are Mama Pen and Khun Mew, whose culinary talent is seriously impressive. The quality and flavour of their dishes are outstanding—fresh, authentic, and beautifully balanced. The presentation is thoughtful too, these are elegant plates that are prepared with care. If you like sophisticated cocktails then this is also worth trying. The cocktails are far more than an afterthought; they are genuinely tasty and sophisticated. I can confidently say that they match the levels I have experienced in high-end establishments in European cities. The entire front-of-house team contributes significantly to the excellent experience. Their friendly, dedicated service and ability to anticipate needs is what makes the whole visit so enjoyable. Special recognition goes to: * Khun Diamond: For his great energy and warmth and attention to detail. * Khun Beer: For his friendly and professional approach and expert cocktail mixing! * Khun Kam: Always welcoming and very funny! * Khun Nuch: Her excellent attention to detail and professional, friendly service made the meals worthwhile. They are all key to making the restaurant feel so welcoming and fun. If you appreciate great food served by a team that genuinely cares, Mama's Kitchen is highly recommended.
