Mam has the best bakery in Ban Chang. Really good breads baked daily from Danish recipes (her husband has been a professional baker in Denmark for many years). Large loaves of whole wheat, multi grain, rye and baguettes, croissants and cinnamon rolls are baked daily. But what I like most are the huge sandwiches - ham and cheese and also, the smoked salmon - with lots of veggies on a baguette; her sandwiches are nearly twice the size of normal sandwiches and among the best I have ever had. I like her bakery so much that I ordered bread to be sent to me in Roi Et province; the postage was very reasonable at under 80 baht for three loaves of bread and 10 baguettes! I am moving to Ban Chang in a month and look forward to being able to visit the bakery a few times each week.
