Maになってからはほとんど訪れることがなくなりました。マノーラのころはよく泊まっていましたが、車での移動になってからは渋滞を避けオンヌットあたりの少し郊外のホテルを使うようにしています。パッポンあたりで楽しみたい方はどうぞお使いください。コストパフォーマンスは悪くありません。でしたが今は？

"MA Hotel" used to be called Manohra Hotel before they closed for renovation in 2012. I have been one of not-so-often-coming regular customers here - probably for the last 10 years or so. Whenever I come to Bangkok this has been my hotel.After renovation the facility have greatly improved (it was a old fashioned aging hotel in 2012 as they opened in 1966) and getting more comfortable to stay. The rooms are big with shower, TV (not always working well but this is not un-usual here), free WiFi, safe (free), comfortable bed and of course air conditioning. Staff is friendly and competent - I like them all. And talking to them is fun always!! Breakfast is good - do go for the separate section (need an arrangement with the front office) and avoid mixing with the group tourists for your comfort. The hotel is in Silom business district as well as shops, restaurants and Silom Village. And this is quieter area of Bangkok. Also it should be noted that the hotel is located very close to motorway entrance/exit so whether you are coming from the airport or heading to the airport you can avoid the city centre traffic jam - specially rainy day.The location is close to tourist attraction, easy walking to Riverside shopping mall and street food around the hotel. Nice room and bed were comfy and clean. Bit of a walk to BTS.
