Gd (not outstanding) taste, green service(asking different people for more than 3 times in order to have our BYOB bottle of red wine being opened and properly served plus other stuff..); had bad diarrhoea x2 after dinner. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: $500+

From the initial planning to the final bite, my experience with Man Ho Chinese Restaurant was very good. Yannis and Aiko provided excellent and fast responses to all my booking enquiries, all within the hour on the same day. This makes a positive first impression and motivated us to shortlist this over other Michelin starred restaurants. Many fine dining and/or Michelin restaurants located within luxury hotels or at standalone locations could not match this level of responsiveness and they fell off my interest. We opted for Man Ho's Michelin degustation menu, and the culinary execution was extraordinary. The ultimate highlight was the well-executed poached spinach with Yunnan ham and bamboo pith in chicken stock. The stock boasted an amazing umami and fragrance. Their steamed egg white lobster with spring onion & ginger foam, steamed yellow croaker with sansho sauce, braised South African dried abalone with mushroom & fresh yam were also exceptional. The seafood were all cooked to perfect doneness and absolute precision. Our supervisor, Cindy, elevated the entire lunch with her excellent table service, explaining each dish in clear, concise English and Cantonese. Her genuine attentiveness and regular checks for our feedback made us feel well-cared for. The team also prepared a delicious birthday sliced cake and longevity buns to celebrate my friend's birthday. This is world-class gastronomy in a luxury setting paired with matching hospitality.
