Background Mana Manna is a new cafe that has quickly become a destination in Bangkok. Housed in a glass-block building adjacent to a church, it feels more like a piece of modern art than a coffee shop. Ambience Clean geometric lines, generous glass panels, and soft pastel wood tones create a space that feels distinctly contemporary. The interior space is clean, neat, and simple, with a soothing palette of white and pastel wood tones that create an immediate sense of calm. Service Staff are polite, attentive, and helpful. The experience reflected a young café that understands hospitality extends beyond simply serving coffee. Food/Drink The menu is a delightful surprise, exceeding the expectations of a typical cafe. The coffee is great, and the food is genuinely impressive. I was pleasantly surprised by the mashed soup, which was comforting and well-seasoned. The pancake was a standout; it was perfectly fluffy and light, with fresh berries providing a tangy and vibrant counterpoint that elevated the dish. The signature “Shio Bread,” a homemade salt bread available in original and truffle flavours, is also highly recommended for its soft texture and perfect sweet-savoury balance. Overall Mana Manna is a great cafe. It is the ideal spot for those seeking a moment of calm, a productive workspace, or a delicious brunch in a setting that feels both stylish and serene. I think there is a mistake with my bill. I was charged for 3 Smoked Salmon pancakes & 3 watermelon juice. The total doesn't match what I calculated. The menu price is 190 baht for salmon pancakes & 90 baht for watermelon juice. The correct total is 924 with 10%. But I paid 1518. Could you please double-check and correct this for me? I've wanted to try this restaurant for the longest time since I always see it on my way to work. In terms of ambience, it's a cozy spot tucked in the middle of Phaya Thai intersection. Too bad it was ruined by a big rat running by the wall. The customers to my right definitely saw it too. In terms of food, one of the things that piqued my interest was their "no-flip' pancake. I ordered the one with maple bacon slab & to be honest, there's nothing special about it. Dare I say that the pancake was even a little bit dry to my liking. I was also confused by the bechamel (?) sauce with a side of blueberry compote. Seems like it can't make up it's mind if it's a savory or a sweet pancake. In terms of service, it was okay. Food came in fast. Server also came to me a bit too fast asking for my order when I was still clearly browsing & have not called them yet. Good enough to try once. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
