Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite cafes in Bangkok. Whenever I visit the city, I find myself going there almost every day. The coffee quality is consistently excellent, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. The staff are always friendly, professional, and provide excellent service. It's a place I always look forward to visiting whenever I'm in Bangkok. I highly recommend it to coffee lovers. Came for our free Afternoon Tea set from a credit card privilege. It’s great that they offered sweet or savoury (compared to other five star hotels or famous afternoon tea places in Bangkok where they don’t give you any choice, other than drinks - like hot or cold, tea or coffee) We didn’t expect to get whole 4 pieces of cakes. We thought they would come in tiny pieces like other places. Ample choices of cakes and drinks!! Well worth it. The only downside is it’s a restaurant set up (busy and crowded) when compared to other places which are more relaxed vibe. If we had to pay it would’ve been 1,200++ which is more or less their normal price. So it’s abit on the downside as I think they could’ve made it more exciting like how they serve the cakes (just to differentiate from normal orderings to “Afternoon Tea” set up). I went to Coffee Beans by Dao @ Central World, and it was a treat for my taste buds, but my wallet felt a little lighter afterwards! I came ready for some deliciousness, and it was a sweet escape that was both heavenly and a bit pricey! I visited this place, and it was like stepping into a fancy dessert wonderland! From the beautifully decorated cakes that looked like edible works of art to the rich and flavorful coffee that gave me a caffeine kick with style , it was a feast for the senses. I felt like I should have brought a tiny crown to wear while I enjoyed my expensive but oh-so-worth-it treats! However, let’s be real – even for a dessert devotee like myself, a place this delicious can sometimes feel a bit like a real-life game of "how much am I willing to spend on this slice of heaven?" And while the treats were undeniably amazing, my bank account definitely felt like it had gone on a little diet afterwards. Overall, if you're looking for a cafe experience that's both decadent and delicious (and you're prepared to splurge a little!), Coffee Beans by Dao @ Central World is a must-try! It's elegant, it's flavorful, and you're guaranteed to leave with a happy (and slightly lighter) wallet. I came away feeling completely satisfied, even if I sometimes felt like I was participating in a synchronized dessert-enjoying session with a hundred other people who appreciate the finer (and pricier) things in life. Just remember to bring your appetite, your love for all things sweet, and maybe a credit card with a high limit!
