MALIBUは、旧マルコポーロから改名。 ホテル1階にあるレストラン。街中の喧騒から解放されて、ゆっくり食事ができる。 タイ料理の他に、ステーキ、クラブサンド、ラザニア、トマトスパゲッティなど、世界の一流の味を堪能できる。 カクテルも200パーツ前後でおいしい。 スイカジュースも新鮮。. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿200–300

Marco Polo restaurant @ Duantawan Hotel.Grotesquely overpriced for what you get!Drinks are not included in the price.The card on your table depicts 3 drinks (Coke, Orange soda and water) and says "unlimited drinks" (plural) for an extra 50 baht......What staff doesn't tell you, is that your choice is limited to 1 of 3 choices, so you can't switch to another drink.I argued with one of the managers over this....''....So, if I wanted a glass of water now, you'd charge me another 50 baht, right?"She replied, "That right."Nowhere does it say this on the sign card.BIG TURN OFF.I actually lost my appetite (and that's saying a lot where I'm concerned) after my exchange with the manager.Also I had to send one dish back to the grill, as it was still bloody.Which brings me to my one piece of advice (aside from "don't eat there."), if you are going to eat there...When handing your selection of meats to the guys at the grill, tell them you want it well done.In Thai (they can't speak English that well) SUUK MAAK MAAK.But, if on the other hand, you like your meat bloody and don't mind potential ecolae contamination, by all means, enjoy!
