I have been studying to be a master of cucina Italiana for over 60 years so my standards are quite high, and certain dishes for me are benchmarks I use to judge Italian food. Marco did not disappoint. We were the last customers and stayed until closing, getting a chance to chat and become friendly with Marco, his wife and kids.....a really nice family. When we arrived I asked to speak with Marco so he came out of the kitchen to meet me. I told him my background and asked him to make spaghetti puttanesca and pizza margherita the way we like them and the way I prepare them. The puttanesca was a good as I have ever had, lots of sauce, generous ingredients including plenty of anchovies, and perfectly al dente. KIller. The pizza was also perfect, I asked for a lot of sauce and less cheese, and with his wonderful dough stretch ultra thin it could not have better. We also had a basic salad but the lettuce was super fresh and just what we wanted. I also asked Marco for his and his family's favorite Thai restaurant and he recommended Jae Pai-Roh Thai Restaurant. What a find, fabulous food cooked by mom who's family goes back many generations on Koh Chang. Thanks Marco for your friendship, hospitality, flexibility to prepare dishes the way we like, and for sensational food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Must visit in every trip to Koh Chang. Authentic taste, amazing atmosphere, family vibes, great food and even better host. Marco can serve a pizza before your beer gets warm. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food here is really fantastic, just simple and pure Italics dishes. Atmosphere here is very nice too, I think it’s the best Italy restaurant in koh chang. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
