I've made takoyaki myself many times, so I know a quality product when I taste it. The ones at Masitako are perfect, with just the right amount of mayo and sauce, plenty of bonito flakes on top, and spring onions on the side. The octopus inside is a generous amount and always fresh. The owners are very kind, friendly and efficient. An order takes less than 10 minutes to prepare. It's takeout and delivery only, but there's a bench to sit on while you wait. They always remember that when I come in to take out, I like it if they don't close the box; that way, the balls stay crispy but they're still hot by the time I arrive home. It's nice to have a place nearby that's quick and open so late. I'll never make my own at home again.
