This restaurant says it closes at midnight. We took a 25-minute taxi from Myeong-dong thinking it would still be open, arrived at 10:20 PM, and it was already closed because the last order was at 10 PM. You can’t advertise midnight closing if customers basically can’t eat two hours before. Just put the actual closing time. Meal type: Dinner

I recently visited Matilda with my girlfriend, and the experience truly exceeded our expectations. We ordered the squid ink risotto, carabinero gamberoni pasta, and bruschetta pomodoro. The risotto was absolutely perfect—rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It was honestly one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. The pasta was equally impressive, with fresh ingredients and a deep, satisfying taste that made every bite memorable. The bruschetta was light, refreshing, and a great way to start the meal. What made the experience even more special was the incredibly kind and attentive service. The staff made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. On top of that, the atmosphere was almost flawless—romantic, cozy, and ideal for a date. Overall, it was a truly touching and memorable dining experience. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special meal. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Matilda was such a cozy little spot to enjoy a delicious meal. The pasta was just as great as dishes I had in Italy. Truly excellent. Our server was so kind and served our pasta with fresh truffle and provided complimentary desserts. This spot is absolutely worth a visit. (We tried the truffle tagliatelle, truffle risotto, & crema all’alio pappardelle) Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₩30,000–40,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
