I had a very disappointing experience at McDonald's Seacon Square Bangkae today. I ordered a 2-piece chicken meal and politely asked if **one of the two pieces could be a thigh**, as my mother prefers thigh meat. I completely understand that McDonald's serves mixed chicken pieces in a set. I was **not asking for two thigh pieces**—I was simply asking if **one of the two pieces** could be a thigh while the other piece could be any other part. Unfortunately, the staff member who took my order repeatedly replied, **"No, it's mixed pieces,"** without trying to understand what I was asking. Her facial expression was cold, she made no eye contact, showed no smile, and spoke in an unfriendly tone. It felt like she had no interest in helping the customer. I then spoke to another staff member and explained again that I understood the mixed-piece policy, but was only asking whether one piece could be a thigh. After checking with the kitchen, they came back and said, **"Yes, that's possible."** This clearly showed that my request was possible from the beginning. The problem was not the policy—it was the poor communication and lack of willingness to listen. What disappointed me even more was that when I reported the first staff member's attitude, there was little response or concern. Only after I spoke to another supervisor did someone sincerely apologize for the experience. I have visited many McDonald's restaurants over the years and have never experienced customer service like this. Good customer service is not only about following company policies—it is also about listening, communicating respectfully, and treating customers with kindness. I brought my mother here hoping we would enjoy our meal together, but instead we left feeling upset because of the service. I sincerely hope McDonald's Seacon Square Bangkae will provide better customer service training so that no other customer has to go through the same experience.
