Hi I'm a panda delivery guy been working for past 4 months I have been collecting food at McDonald's in different branch smoothly, today 23rd June 2021 around 2pm I went to McDonalds branch at 513 tampines central to collect food for your customer to deliver, I waited patiently for around 15min. there was a lcd panel stating the food status. one show preparing and the other show Now serving. when I saw my Panda number appeared on now serving I approached the counter and show the staff my Panda app to verify I'm collecting the food appearing on now serving. the staff instead of verify with me simply raised her voice at me n said wait la I pointed to the LCD panel shown that my order is at now serving she again raised her voice and said wait LA . I told the staff her attitude was bad n she needs not raise her voice at me. awhile later one of a lady manager came over I told her, the staff attitude is uncalled for I simply show her my panda app to verify the order shown on now serving, to my astonishment the manager told me by showing your app to her you are in the wrong. I understand the staff are trying their best to cater the order and during waiting I did not question the staff the waiting time or ask how long the order take to complete all I did is showing my panda app to the staff when I saw my order number on the lcd panel under now serving.I feel so insulted by this reply, just because I'm a delivery guy I'm wrong to show her the app? how is it a wrong to show my app and allow the staff to verify my order before collecting is a fault? very often I had my meal at McDonalds I always thought the staff are patient considerate . today I feel how wrong I was , just because I'm not a diner I'm treated this way by your staff. will be gladly to cooperate if any of your management were to call me and verify on this unhappy on incident.
