Truly excellent restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is made to order with a huge variety and multiple choices, plus a small buffet. Everything is perfect, with balanced flavors, a variety of Japanese and Asian dishes, as well as omelets and French toast, all fresh and perfectly cooked to order with great care and attention to detail. For dinner, the cuisine ranges from Japanese to fusion, Asian, and Western. Everything is perfect. Among the best things we tasted during our dinners were the miso eggplant, salmon tempura, Hamachi sashimi, salmon dishes, and shrimp... everything delicious, with excellent variety, and a cuisine that highlights the flavor of the fish. We will definitely return to this restaurant during a stop on our trip to Thailand next year. Nice restaurant, attentive and very kind staff, very talented chef. A must-see if you're in the area. Dinner Review Dinner was truly satisfying. We ordered the A5 Wagyu Shabu Set, which came with an impressive variety of dishes: scallop sushi, foie gras sushi, yaki-udon, truffle garlic fried rice, and a beautifully seasoned oyster (I can’t recall the exact name, but it was delicious). The quality of the beef was excellent—rich, tender, and flavorful—and the soup base was equally well balanced and comforting. Although the set is listed for two people, the portion was generous enough for four. Overall, it felt very good value for money, with both quality and quantity exceeding expectations. ⸻ Breakfast Review Breakfast was just as enjoyable. We had teriyaki grilled saba and teriyaki grilled chicken, both well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The rice was fluffy and served at just the right texture. We also tried the salmon congee, which was wonderfully smooth and comforting, with a delicate flavor. A lovely surprise was the homemade bread, which was fresh and delicious. We stayed in the mountains for four nights, searching for good food, so I chose a restaurant at a five-star hotel after visiting Mon Jam. Mizu received a 3/5 for food—though I shouldn’t have high expectations for raw dishes in the mountains. My rice bowl with mixed fish was okay; it seemed they prepared it earlier and kept it refrigerated before serving. The rice was cold—3/5—and the fish was still fresh, rated 4/5. The sweet omelet was also 3/5. Other tables ordered hotpot, which appeared very popular, but since there were only two of us, we couldn’t finish that set meal.
