If you’re looking for the ultimate comfort meal, this stall is a masterclass in flavour. Their pork porridge has become my obsolute favourite for one reason or another: the quality. Their pork porridge fresh pork and liver are cooked to perfection , but what truly elevated the bowl is addition of their crispy, deep fried youtiao. It’s the best combination of silky smooth porridge and satisfying crunch. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10

The best congee in the west side. Used to be at 328 coffeeshop which is where the aquarium shops are. It has now moved to West Coast blk 710 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tucked away in the inner corner of the kopitiam, you’re welcomed by the ever-amicable Anna. We ordered the #6 prawn congee and the #8 fish congee, both lovingly “plated” with green spring onions, slivers of ginger, crunchy whitebait, house-made fried shallots and dough fritters. Portions are generous: the prawn congee comes with six prawns and three meatballs, while the fish congee features fresh, tender slices of fish. Each bowl is deeply satisfying — hearty, comforting, and truly soul-soothing. They're open during Chinese New Year as well!
