We didn't stay here, but I don't see many reviews about the restaurant – which is superb! The food is delicious, and the staff is amazing. This was our main restaurant during our stay in Phuket. We ate here often and will definitely come back on our next visit to Phuket.

Good point: Great location and very close to the beach. The Thai staff were very friendly and there was this one super helpful lady who spoke a bit of English. We left a bit late out of the room and the room wasn’t cleaned but when we asked for a towel exchange she was very quick about it. Negatives: The room in which we stayed at had many many small ants. Having ants is fine but the way that they responded afterwards was very very rude and not helpful at all. The first night we told the staff about the ants and requested to change rooms if possible. They told us no and to contact the owner or hotel manager to ask him on WhatsApp. The manager responded back saying to NOT EAT in the room and leave crumbs while obviously it was our first night and we didn’t eat anything. He then told us to use anti ant spray ourselves to clean out/decimate the ants. He later warned us that the spray was dangerous and to not leave any crumbs again. There was no apologizing about the ants, we were the ones who had to clean and spray the room that day and he was very rude in general. Service: 2

Regarding the ants: you are right, in a tropical country like Thailand, this is a common issue, as they appear instantly if there is any sweet food or crumbs left. However, we are very sorry for the rude communication you experienced. We want to inform you that the hotel is now under new ownership. Thank you Mellow space boutique rooms and Mr Dave Rogers such a fantastic host, and warm welcome. Attentive, friendly staff. A spotlessly clean and spacious room with quiet ac and ceiling fan. Comfortable bed and balcony to enjoy the village bustle.. otherwise mountain view rooms for respite. 5 minutes walk (250m) to beautiful Karon beach. So ideally located. Taxi, 7/11 across the road, excellent laundry and scooter hire a few doors along. Lastly I really enjoyed breakfast in the downstairs restaurant.. a wide selection to cater for all. I opted for local Thai style and it was delicious. Not just value for money.. but quality.
