Came to the place on 2 occasions at 11am (said to be open at that time), but on one occasion, the shopkeeper was no where to be found. On the 2nd occasion, upon asking, she says she needs to cook the rice and would require another 20 minutes of waiting which subsequently became 30 minutes. Meanwhile, the neighbouring shop, king of fried rice was already serving customers at 11am. I ordered a mentai salmon don for $10.90 which tasted average but the garlic butter rice was overpoweringly buttery and watery. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Today was 7/4/2026 I bought my meal around 7:10 . When I was reach home . I try the first bite was very bad because The rice is not cooked yet :( so sad I bough a mental beef cude every time very nice but why today like this :(((

I usually get the salmon rice at Mentai King and it’s not bad, it usually comes with 2 broccolis and 2 slices of tamago egg. Rice is filled with garlic flavour Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Mentai Rice Bowl
