It's a pretty good ramen restaurant I ordered rich tsukemen/dip, karate and gyoza. The noodles are pretty good nothing ordinary or special but solid The noodle were a good texture between hard and soft and have the right thickness, the pepper meat were to raw for me personally but also not to raw but the other chicken meat feels like some chicken for bread, the egg was perfectly cooked inside soft and outside the yellow it was hard. My biggest problem of the dish was the broth, it wasn't the thickness and oiliness for an usual tsukemen and tastewise it was also not the strongest part. So it makes the tsukemen pretty less impressive as I thought. The side dishes were all crispy and well done cooked only the soya sauce option like garlic would be nice. Also the atmosphere, tables and toilet are all clean and welcome. I didn't need to wait for a table but I also came really late this day but the showed me they welcomeness. That's shows hos good the service here is and they also speak enough English to communicate. Price per person: $400–600

Nice soup base. Tried both light and heavy soup base, both are good. Personally prefer the heavy soup base. Nice atmosphere too. Very nice being the first meal for us in TW Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $1,000–1,200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

During my trip to Taipei, I visited Menya Chikumo Guanghua Branch, and I was really impressed. The ramen had a great chewy texture, and the dipping broth was quite unique. It had plenty of diced onions, giving it a savory flavor with a hint of yuzu. The addition of lemon and salt balanced the flavors, making it refreshing and light yet satisfying. As for the toppings, the ramen came with three thick slices of chicken breast. I wasn’t expecting much from the chicken since it looked simple, but it turned out to be flavorful and tender. Overall, the experience was great, refreshing and different from your usual ramen. Definitely a must-try if you’re in Taipei!
