Absolutely pathetic. Waited over 30 minutes for one bowl of ramen when the restaurant didn’t even have that many people. This is the most basic expectation at a restaurant — getting food out in a reasonable time. It’s not some complicated multi-course meal. Messing up something this basic when there are barely any customers is honestly embarrassing and shows how poorly this place is run. For a restaurant this small, with around 5–7 staff working, this kind of delay is difficult to understand. To make it worse, after all that waiting, the food was mid at best. Completely average and nowhere near worth wasting 30+ minutes for. If a ramen shop can’t even get the most basic part of its service right, there’s really no excuse.

This cozy, quiet gem has real heart. While portions aren't huge, they are perfectly satisfying. The clear, MSG-free broth is the star. It’s a masterful blend of pork bone and whole chicken that tastes remarkably clean yet flavorful. Paired with expertly marinated pork slices, it is a soul warming bowl. I recently visited Menya Hiyori and overall, it was a pleasant experience. I ordered a bowl of ramen along with the chicken and fried potato sides. While the food was decent, it didn't stand out as anything special. The flavors were good, making for a satisfying meal, but nothing that wowed me.
