This restaurant is amazing. We got to Seoul, coming from Tokyo, and we were in itaewon for a bit and got hungry. We stumbled upon this place and decided to eat here. We made such a good decision. I am a chef in NYC and I was genuinely inspired by the attention to the food , the technique, the passion and the talent used by chef. Coming from Tokyo I felt that this restaurant created an atmosphere and food quality that I did not experience in Japan, but deeply wanted to. Bravo to the team. I had a wonderful experience. I accidentally discovered Midoriya Japanese restaurant. Chef spoke English and was able to recommend dishes for me, even though there was no English menu available. I tried the salmon and snapper sashimi and was impressed by the fresh, good-tasting food. The chef even surprised me by giving me two inari sushi as a complimentary dish. Overall, I had a great experience at Midoriya. Price per person: ₩20,000–30,000
