Stopped by Milkfill in Tsim Sha Tsui and got their signature Napoleon pastries. The made-to-order original Napoleon puff had a perfectly caramelized crispy top and rich creamy filling that bursts out. The Earl Grey version was elegant, and the blueberry Napoleon stick was fresh and not too sweet — my mom loved it! Great spot for quality sweets in TST. I was there because of the great reviews and the viral videos but unfortunately, for me , it didn’t live up to the hype. The pastry was too dry and flaky, almost only dry flakes divided by a cold custard cream. The cream itself was good and not ton sweet but the pastry was disappointing for me. The staff were really friendly though and also helped me with my choice so points for that! All in all an interesting, instagrammable / tick tokable pastry but I will stick to the usual egg tarts in the future. Price per person: HK$1–50 Food: 3 Service: 5

Tried their Mille Puff - one chocolate and one pistachio. First off, they are super crispy, like so crispy that you end up covered in pastry flakes after eating! But the filling... I only started tasting it halfway through the puff. I get that it's not always even, but all 4 puffs me and my friend got had the same issue! Honestly, at $46 each, it's way overpriced!! Both of us thought they were pretty average, nothing really stood out. When i mentioned that to another friend, she totally felt the same... Absolutely no idea what the hype is all about!
