Millennium Hoetjip is truly a hidden gem for anyone who loves fresh and expertly prepared seafood. Located in a picturesque coastal area, this restaurant combines the beauty of ocean views with an authentic Korean dining experience that leaves a lasting impression. From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming and attentive. The service was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable, especially when it came to explaining the various types of hoe (raw fish) and seafood dishes on the menu. They even offered recommendations based on what was freshest that day, which really elevated our experience. The food was outstanding. We ordered a set that included assorted sashimi, abalone, sea squirt, and live octopus, along with grilled fish, seafood soup, and side dishes that just kept coming. Everything tasted incredibly fresh — you could tell it was caught that same morning. The raw fish was sliced to perfection, tender and clean-tasting, while the abalone and octopus offered an exciting contrast in texture and flavor. The complimentary seafood stew at the end was the perfect warm finish to the meal. What also stood out was the ambiance. The dining space was clean and spacious, with large windows offering views of the nearby sea. It's perfect for a casual lunch, family dinner, or even a special celebration. Millennium Hoetjip may not be flashy or overly trendy, but it delivers where it counts: freshness, flavor, and genuine hospitality. Whether you're a seafood enthusiast or a first-time visitor to Korean raw fish cuisine, this is a must-visit spot. I would absolutely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a true taste of coastal Korea.
