I would like to provide feedback regarding an unpleasant experience at your shop on 18 June 2026 at approximately 6:10 PM. I purchased a French loaf and noticed that part of the bread at the back was overly roasted. I politely asked a staff member to help slice off the roasted portion before packing the bread. However, she declined my request and informed me that she was new. She also appeared unhappy when I asked for assistance and told me that I could remove the roasted part myself at home. I explained that my 89-year-old mother would not be able to eat the burnt portion and would expect me to remove it before bringing the bread home. Despite this, the staff member was unwilling to assist. Eventually, another senior staff member helped to slice off the roasted section, but she also appeared reluctant and gave the impression that my request was an inconvenience. I am disappointed by the lack of customer service shown during this interaction. My request was simple and reasonable, especially considering that the bread was already over-roasted. I have been a loyal customer of your shop for many years and have lived in Taman Jurong for more than 50 years. This is not the level of service I would expect from a business that values its customers. Could you please advise whether it is indeed your company policy not to assist customers by removing an over-roasted portion of bread upon request? If such assistance is not provided, I would appreciate clarification. Otherwise, I hope your staff can be reminded to serve customers with greater courtesy and willingness to help. Located at Taman Jurong Shopping Centre, Min Sin Fresh Bakery has a wide selection of cakes, bread and confectionery at affordable prices. Their cakes are also affordable and tasty. Their waffles are good too A great neighborhood bakery shop in Taman Jurong!
