The B2 level of SOGO department store in Causeway Bay is mostly occupied by small and independent snack & dessert shops including Minamoto Kitchoan, a Japanese confectionary shop. Opening hours are 10am to around 10pm daily. I recently purchased a couple of their daifuku (stuffed mochi) pieces. Both the red bean paste and chestnut in red bean paste were quite good. Would gladly purchase from here again. Worth a try if wanted to try mochi or other Japanese delicate treats in the Causeway Bay area.

Been to other stores of Minamoto Kitchloan overseas, this store is not a stand alone store, it is located inside Sogo supermarket. The price is cheaper than the US store and has some items that cannot be found in US location.
