I ordered their signature XO fish slice beehoon and prawn paste chicken. On the one hand, the fresh slices of snapper, dunked in a sinful soup containing XO (the hard liquor), evaporated milk and fish bones, the thick bee hoon is simply flavourful. However, I find the combination of milk and liquor weaker than its adjacent rival.
The prawn paste chicken was over fried and had a bitter and charred crust. The chicken wings were also under marinated as the savoury and stinky prawn paste failed to permeate through the chicken meat.
