旅先でご当地ジェラートを見つけると絶対寄っちゃうんですが、ここは個人的にトップクラスで感動しました！ 小豆島産の食材を使ったフレーバーがズラリと並んでいて、どれにするか本気で迷います。「小豆島産オリーブ」や「鶴醤（醤油）」など一見変わったメニューも、食べてみると驚くほど上品で美味しい！ 何度でも通って全種類制覇したくなる、島旅のオアシス的なお店です

It stands quietly in an easy-to-miss spot, the sign seemingly hiding on purpose. I once walked past without noticing it. However, that modest presence opens into a case filled with startling originality, evoking the childhood feeling of standing in front of an ice cream freezer, unable to decide. What feels especially generous is the intention to incorporate the island’s flavours into each scoop, however small. When I ordered a triple, I was presented with a generous mound of gelato, carefully and generously packed by a staff member who seemed genuinely happy to do so. The slightly woody interior adds a nostalgic warmth that feels unforced and comfortable. They also sell online. Prices are higher, but the quality renders the argument unnecessary. Having already eaten rich soy sauce soft serve earlier, I hesitated, considering richness and balance. Gelato may look lighter, but some flavours are more substantial than they appear. Nevertheless, this honesty is part of the charm. This is a place where indulgence is considered, and restraint is entirely up to you. The gelato here is so much more than just a sweet treat. It subtly showcases the depth of ice cream culture. At first glance, soft serve, ice cream and gelato appear similar. Look closer, though, and the fat and calorie content tells a different story. Even the 'jofu' type of soft serve, which is made by professionals, looks light but is rich in fresh cream. Ice cream, particularly nut, caramel or chocolate varieties, is a concentrated source of flavour and fat. Gelato is often praised as being lighter, but it can rival ice cream when nuts or mascarpone are added. At MINORI GELATO, this hierarchy is apparent to the taste buds. Fruity flavours remain light and refreshing. Nutty or rich options assert themselves with real substance. It is a place where genuine indulgence is the norm. The texture, density and weight of the cream speak for themselves. You can sense the care that has gone into it, and the subtle message that ice cream is never just empty sweetness.
