西區にあるブランチ／カフェのお店。メニューの数は多くはないが何を食べても美味しい！写真は和牛のパストラミサンド。サワードウは自家製ではないが有名店の限定を使用している。値段の割に量が少ないけど、それに敏感な台湾人で賑わっているのが美味しさの証拠！18時までの営業だけど早く行かないと売り切れる場合が多い。

Our love affair with Mirror Room started on Uber Eats with their Tacos and Chilli Scrambled Eggs, but after visiting their physical location few weekends ago, we are officially hooked for life. The Highlights: - The Vibe: Pure "Taichung Chill." The ambiance is easy-going and sleek—perfect for a lazy weekend. - The Liquid Gold: Their drink game is elite. The Melbourne Spritz is a total mood, and their unique apple juice blend is refreshing enough to make you forget plain OJ ever existed. - The Main Event: We opted for the Carbonara and Chili Scrambled Eggs, which were both absolute perfection. The flavor profiles here are bold, balanced, and a level above the competition. The Absolute Must-Try (PS): Do not leave without trying their Fries and the Pulled Pork Sandwich on their homemade sourdough bread. The texture of that bread combined with the succulent, tender, seared pulled pork is heavenly. When the meat juices and chili oil intertwine, it creates a literal explosion of flavor in your mouth. It is, quite frankly, a masterpiece of a sandwich. The Service & Vibe: If you’re looking for posh, pretentious fine-dining service, go elsewhere. Mirror Room offers a refreshing, Western-style "pay at the front" experience. Having grown up overseas, this was a total breath of fresh air for us—it felt like a genuine "home away from home" run by people who truly love food. Portion Size: We found the portions to be the "Goldilocks" of brunch: not overwhelmingly massive like in Western countries, yet not too small like many Eastern spots. It's just right. If you love a brunch spot with a diverse menu and world-class homemade bread, this is it. It’s officially our #1 spot in town.
