Hidden gem of a neighbourhood café! The vibe is super chill, with great food and drinks to match. Their mochi waffles are seriously shiok—perfectly chewy crispy and full of flavour. I also love that they offer unique items you don’t usually find elsewhere, like cheese curly fries and a refreshing soursop drink with pulp. You can customise your order with different toppings, which makes it even more fun. The owners are warm and welcoming, and they are happy to give recommendations or accommodate special requests. This place is a very cosy cafe, not Instagram kind of artistic, but it reminds me of home cafe food stores that I came across overseas. Where you know the cafe is filled with real warmth and friendship - a passion project rather than a job kind of vibe! Where they run not by regime/ a well planned out menu but creativity. I had 6 dishes there today: 1. Owner tailor made Vietnamese spring rolls (a keto version of a sandwich because I shared that I was on a diet) 2. Grilled Mushroom Cheese Sandwich 3. Chicken & Egg Mayo Croissant 4. *Chicken floss wrap with Seaweed, Mayonnaise and mozzarella (didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did!) 5. Mochi Waffles (I love udders’ mochi waffles and this I would say is a pandan variation, and an ENTIRE waffle as a crispy mochi) 6. Chicken Wings that I brought home for dinner (could use a little more salt but other than that was well cooked, juicy and crispy!) Reminded me of a time in Italy when I sat in a family run restaurant - this was Singapore Styled. Where the two owners recommended their favourite food creations and I had the pleasure of trying them. They shared that they spend a lot of time here experimenting and creating new foods in their free time! (They even hold their own full time jobs btw!) I also saw other customers come in and were all very warmly treated - they had a few regular customers whom they knew the orders of, some others came in for customisations (obviously familiar with the experimental culture). I had a lot of fun in this cafe and the menu surprised me in the best ways! Tip: come in and just ask for specials/ recommendations! Most affordable experiential dining in Singapore!
