Basically a scam. We visited Hua Hin Beach and a woman who appeared to be the owner approached us at the entrance. She told us to follow her to her restaurant and said we could use chairs, a toilet, and a shower room if we ordered food. Since we were hungry, we agreed. However, when we arrived, there was no bathroom or shower as promised. The “toilet” situation was basically just the beach, which was very misleading. When we tried to order, she insisted that we had to order at least four dishes, which we found unreasonable. After we agreed to order four dishes, she then told us we also had to order an additional seafood dish. We explained that we didn’t want that much food and asked if we could simply pay for the chairs instead. She told us it would be 100 baht per chair, which felt overpriced compared to nearby beaches like Cha-am where chairs are around 30–50 baht. We then asked if we could just order fries instead (150 baht on the menu), but she said it would cost 200 baht. The prices kept changing, which was very frustrating. When the food arrived, the portions were extremely small, even though we were told they could be shared among five people. When we received the bill, there was an extra ~100 baht charge for ice and drinks that we never ordered. We had to argue about it before it was finally removed. There was also an omelette charged at 200 baht even though the menu listed it as 150 baht. Another concerning detail was that there was a different menu with cheaper prices, but she told us it was “old” even though it was still on the menu rack. I understand that beach restaurants can be more expensive, but misleading customers, changing prices, and forcing orders is unacceptable. We were very uncomfortable during the whole experience. As international students visiting from Bangkok, we unfortunately felt that we may have been treated this way because we were not Thai. Service: 1

Really and truly the food is not that good... For the Americans and Europeans who don't know much, I could understand why you give this place great reviews.. the black ends of the mushrooms are not cut off... A legendary dish Tom Yum soup does not even have any spices.. she does not have any hot sauce.. ask her she'll tell you.. overall, for what you pay this is not worth it.. go to the Hilton.. or go somewhere else.. many people have built a loyalty because she's a very loving human being.. for that I respect.. but the quality is nowhere near what it should be.. and does not necessitate the prices that she's charging.. happy we came.. happy we ate.. we will never come back... 1800 tbh for 3 people.. it wasn't worth it..
