Had the chilli crab at Mod Keaw — 2 crabs for $68, and they were running a promotion. Can get free Mantou. Really good value for the portion. The chilli crab sauce was rich, savoury, slightly sweet, and had a nice kick without being too spicy. The crabs were fresh and meaty, and the mantou was perfect for dipping into the sauce. Casual, comfortable place to enjoy chilli crab. Would definitely come back again.

Ordered a pad mama and pandan chicken for dinner, and while the pandan chicken was deep fried to a crisp on the outside, the chicken was raw on the inside. I brought it back to the kitchen and showed that the chicken was raw, and asked the kitchen to replace it. Didn’t ask for a refund. So they took it back and fried a new batch, this time it came back burnt. See photos. You are lucky I don’t report this to NEA and have your food hygiene and safety license suspended for serving raw meat to a diner. Does your chef only know how to serve raw or burnt food? Worst Thai joint in SG. I only ate at this place because the western and Vietnamese joint a few units down were closed. Do not patronise this place, unless you enjoy raw or burnt food. Food: 1
