Dinner at Mong-Yudo in Jeonju. This place serves traditional Korean BBQ with thick cuts of pork belly grilled on a cast-iron pan at the table. The meat was fresh, well-marbled, and grilled slowly until crispy on the outside and tender inside. It was served with the usual side dishes like fresh lettuce, green chili peppers, garlic, dipping sauces, and a bowl of soybean paste soup. The soup was simple but flavorful, with seaweed and green onion. The restaurant has a relaxed, local feel. Service was efficient, and the ingredients seemed high quality.
