very good food, affordable prices, and manager was really friendly too. he found out it was my birthday then he gave us extra attention and even took out birthday candles. Highly recommend for all (you can request for less spicy). its also one of the few places in Singapore that serve puttu. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 10–20

A total scam job I have to say. I am usually very kind with my review but this one is a definite SCAM unfortunately for better of a term Let’s start from the moment we sat down: - hardly 5 mins it felt like you are being rushed to place your order - then comes the meal we ordered: 1. Kappa - zero salt. When asked if the chef may have misused out the salt, the reply blew me away” it’s meant to be that way” are you kidding me??? This is not my first try on Kappa by the way.. so pls .. that shouldn’t be the reply. 2. The idiappom- guaranteed was bought of a sundry shop which you may have seen packed yourself sometime. 3. Kadala curry- ok ok only 4. The biggest one that topped it all.. Veg Briyani. The order taker even asked me if I want it on basmati or jeera rice. So we chose the jeera. What came after was a complete Bogus Veg Briyani. Frozen mixed veg probably thrown in the frying pan for a quick stir- dump it in the bowl and top it up which looked lien BROKEN RICE !! Seriously! 5. The ginger tea and fried banana with jagery and coconut was probably the only thing that came midway to me saying ok la. Which makes me to wonder this operator probably had a stall selling tea and sweets but decided to go big with a restaurant set up. But guess what?? I rather they stayed with their tea stall. In summary- be careful with this Monsoon Masala place may actually “Blow” you away with like a real monsoon!. Absolute disaster! Am sorry but I will not condone to substandard scam job. Pls revive yourself. REPENT ! Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We ordered the fish meals set and mutton biryani. Both were authentic and very delicious! We enjoyed every bite. The meals set was the highlight for us, absolutely amazing and full of flavor. We also tried the banana pazham pori and loved it. The customer service was great too. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We will surely come again with our family and friends. Highly recommended! Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
