Food was great as usual but lost a star due to the sauce portion. Refer to first photo for the curry mayo sauce that came with ala carte fries order. Service and atmosphere was average - service staff obviously don’t feel like working, slamming of plates, not attentive despite only 3 groups of customers in store. Atmosphere wise, store is small at one corner. Meal type: Other Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

The waitress Mei Zhi was very patient and kind with us. She answered all our questions knowledgeably. The food quality is amazing and delicious. Would definitely recommend people to dine here. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Monster Curry: Good Curry, Generous Portions, Just a Tad Jelat This Time Donkey & I had a serious curry craving, so we decided to hit up Monster Curry. We were thinking about Encik Tan, but Monster Curry won out. We'd been to this location before and the food was pretty good. Today, Donkey's relative asked her to takeaway a Monster Curry steak, so we ordered along with her. After they packed her meal to go, we decided to head back to Waterway Point for dinner ourselves, since the portions are usually huge. We ordered a Premium Steak Omelette Curry with some Fried Fish and extra rice to share. The steak was cooked well-done, almost medium-well. I was hoping for medium-rare, but it was still pretty juicy. The fish was cooked well and piping hot. I chose spice level two, the '2 Flame spicy,' which I thought was a bit mild. You could still taste some spice, but it wasn't super fiery. I really liked the Coconut Lemonade Mocktail – it was so refreshing, and the coconut flavor was well-balanced. They have a deal where you get extra fries if you spend over $40 before tax, but since it was just the two of us, we skipped it. The restaurant seemed to be run by a small crew, with just one person managing the floor and maybe two in the kitchen, but they were efficient. This time, maybe because we ordered too much, the curry rice felt a bit jelat (rich/heavy). Google Rating: - Curry Flavor: 4/5 - Tasty curry, but spice level could be stronger. - Steak: 3.5/5 - Cooked well-done, but still juicy. - Fried Fish: 4/5 - Cooked well and hot. - Portion Size: 5/5 - Very generous portions. - Drinks: 5/5 - Coconut Lemonade Mocktail was excellent. - Service: 4/5 - Efficient despite the small staff. - Overall: 4/5 - Good curry with generous portions, but maybe order less to avoid feeling jelat.
