The atmosphere feels welcoming and laid-back, making it a great place to sit for a bit, sip your drink, and enjoy the surroundings. A place where the subtle dance of expectation and disappointment plays out in full view. The menu promises “three Chang for 229 baht,” a deal that seems almost too good to be true. But soon enough, the bill arrives, and the numbers tell a different story: three beers, each listed at 85 baht, plus the obligatory wave of expectation as the change comes in the form of 1-baht coins—each one an unwelcome reminder that this isn’t a place where you walk away feeling valued. The only tap beer available is Singha, but it’s gone, as are any ambitions of a truly relaxed evening. I ordered bottled beer instead, a quiet compromise that didn’t sit right. There’s potential here, perhaps—a bar where the promise of casual drinking meets the reality of being caught up in something else entirely. But tonight, the vibe isn’t right, the energy feels sour, and I can’t help but feel like I’ve been caught in the crossfire of something less than honest. The scene’s off-kilter enough that I walked out with little hesitation, not quite angry, just disillusioned. A place to avoid when looking for anything resembling good energy. Brilliant cafe next to the main river. Old style wooden building with outdoor terrace on the 2nd floor, overlooking the river. Rich selection of craft beers along with very friendly staff. Meal type: Other Price per person: ฿100–200 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
