Stopped by 素屋 岩田屋店 while exploring Tenjin and it turned out to be a lovely, satisfying meal. I ordered the Kitsune Soba with tempura, and everything came together beautifully. The soba soup was rich, warm, and deeply flavourful, with that comforting umami that makes you want to finish every last drop. The kitsune (sweet tofu) was soft and nicely seasoned, complementing the noodles perfectly. The tempura was also excellent — light, crispy, and not greasy at all. Each piece had a delicate crunch that paired wonderfully with the soba. A simple meal done really well. If you’re in Tenjin and craving a comforting bowl of soba with great tempura, this place is definitely worth a visit. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
