The restaurant features comfortable sofa seating and a lovely environment. It is wonderful that they employ staff with ASD. While the receipt notes that the service charge goes toward supporting them, I hope even more resources can be dedicated to their development, such as social skills training. I tried the tea set; the matcha drink had a slightly thick texture, and while the waffles were crispy, the flavor could be improved. The price and portion does not really match. Overall, though, it is a great, cozy spot for catching up with friends. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Other Price per person: $50–100

Hidden gem of a café. Literally! This coffee house is in a hidden corner of a mall with myriad eateries. However, we keep going back to Mountain Coffee. First off, the coffee is very well made. The variety of coffee based beverages is large and they are all delicious. Portion of dishes is very good. The meals are pleasing to the eye as well as the tastebuds. More importantly, this restaurant partly employs autistic people in order to help them integrate into the society. A portion of the restaurant’s profits goes to support vocational training for people with special learning needs. So, every time you come to this restaurant, you’re doing good deeds!
