I had a very unpleasant experience here. While at the counter, I noticed a housefly moving around on the pancakes that were being prepared for sale. What was worse was that the staff clearly saw it as well, but made no effort to remove or discard the affected food. Instead, they continued selling the pancakes as if nothing had happened. This raises serious concerns about hygiene standards and food safety practices. If something so obvious is ignored, it makes me question what else is happening behind the scenes. I strongly suggest the management reviews their food handling procedures. Customers deserve basic cleanliness and accountability, especially when it comes to food.

I walked into a closed glass door at the NUH branch at 1pm today and bruised my forehead and right knee. None of the staff came forward to render any help. I had to remind them repeatedly to place visible markers on the glass door, but it was still not done. It will be a matter of time that another person would get injured when they walk into the glass door.

Food is ok and the staff are patience, BUT 1 star due to how Mr Bean do business. Isn't it too much for the company to charge 10 cents for a plastic bag? How am I supposed to carry this hot bowl home on the MRT with my hands if there is no bag? Perhaps the Mr Bean's boss can demonstrate how to do it when a customer chooses not to pay 10 cents for a plastic bag. Furthermore, the plastic bag provides some protection again leak or spill. In this context, am I being forced to pay extra? CASE, can comment? If the objective is for the environment, instead give 10 cents discount to those customer who don't need the bag. Put a big sign there, "Shout out if you don't need a bag and We give you 10 cents discount!" (1) You stop all these negative reviews (2) Save the staff's breath and time in asking each customer whether do they want a bag for 10 cents each. (3) Speed up the queue and save the environment in a more efficient way.
