This is hands down the most authentic Korean BBQ I’ve had in a long time. Having tried traditional BBQ in Korea before, I can say the flavors here are incredibly close to the real deal. Price per person: $200–250 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: BBQ, Fried Chicken

My sister and I went to this Korean BBQ place in Causeway Bay after seeing some really good reviews. We got there around 7:30 on a Wednesday night, and there were only two tables occupied which was a bit suspicious. We ordered the marinated short ribs and thick-cut pork belly. I was thinking of getting the stone bibimbap too, but my sister said, “Let’s see how the meat is first.” Honestly, great call. The short ribs didn’t have much flavor, and when they hit the grill, it felt more like gentle steaming than sizzling BBQ. The pork belly was also pretty plain. Just frozen pork belly that was defrosted on a plate. The banchan was probably the best part: kimchi, bean sprouts, and spinach. It’s simple but okay. The air-con was quite weak, so we finished up quickly and left feeling a bit hot. I wouldn’t really go back, but hey, at least now we know not every review tells the full story. Price per person: $150–200 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
