Visited this Taiwanese resto in Lai Chi Kok for dinner with my colleagues after having ice cream. . I ordered the Crispy Chicken Bento (HKD65). It featured Taiwanese popcorn chicken paired with a large bowl of braised minced pork rice. The golden-brown chicken pieces were crispy, and I sprinkled the resto's signature pepper-salt seasoning powder on top for an extra kick of savoury flavour. The braised minced pork made the rice more appetising. One colleague ordered the Beef & Beef Tendon Noodles with Tomato Soup (HKD80). It featured a reddish-orange broth speckled with chunks of stewed tomatoes. Another colleague ordered the Beef & Beef Tendon Noodles with Taiwan Mala Spicy Soup (HKD80). It featured a glossy reddish-brown broth shimmering with a layer of aromatic chili oil, with gelatinous pieces of glistening beef tendon nestled alongside the noodles. . The resto is on the smaller side, but it is clean and neat. We placed our order by scanning a QR code, and the staff served us quickly. It is also a pet-friendly resto that donates money to help local animals in town! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100

This is my first time visiting Amu Taiwan Noodles (I’ve wanted to eat there for a long time). The weather was hot, so I had a light afternoon tea. There are three snacks in the meal, shredded tripe and fried sweet and sour sauce are very delicious! The braised pork rice noodles are good and not greasy. The winter melon tea is slightly sweet and fragrant, a must drink! Prices are reasonable (afternoon tea is $45). I think the beautiful woman who speaks Mandarin is the proprietress. She and other shop assistants are very polite and will help solve problems immediately. It’s worth going back!
