If you are planning to go exploring Mudanwan, BE CAREFUL when considering their pick-up service. The HSR(TAIWAN High Speed Rail) pick-up service which Mudanwan Villa collaborated with is not solid from my personal experience. Drivers all came from free lancer and got pick-up notice from either same day or under a very short notice. 1st Driver(HSR->Mudanwan) - The driver did not have the information about pick-up time, meet-up location, passengers contact info, also not familiar with local info(told us that he's not doing this job a lot). 2nd Driver(Mudanwan->HSR) - FALL ASLEEP DURING THE DRIVING!!! (said no more, there are 5 passenger in the car and it's so irresponsible, tbh drivers Mudanwan collaborated all looked SUPER TIRED, and keep asking through the phone about "who I should reach for my fee for driving these people?".) Overall Mudanwan is a gorgeous resort and we believed it required so much effort & teamwork to maintain and operate this heaven everyday. However this hidden gem is located inside the mountain, not main Kenting National Park area, the road is absolutely tricky. Which we believed it required high vehicle attention, energy and experience (and maybe passion?), instead of just hire some freelancer or unauthorized taxi driver to complete the job. The Pick-Up service is not included in resort reservation, it's an extra paid service. I wish every of you reading this can have a great trip.
