I visited the 'Muna Karka' restaurant last month and would like to warn others. While they market themselves as an 'Indian' restaurant, the staff (two Nepali men and one lady) and the owner are all Nepali. The hygiene standards in the kitchen are extremely poor. I observed that they do not cook fresh food. Instead, they use pre-made gravy stored in plastic packets in the freezer for up to 30 days. When an order comes in, they simply reheat these frozen packets and serve them. The food quality is very poor, and given the ingredients and the way it is stored, it is extremely unhealthy for the body. Additionally, the prices are unreasonably high for such low-quality food.
